FOODS WITH AND WITHOUT GLUTENS

Gluten is a component protein of some grains, not soluble in water and that makes the dough elastic. A lot of the foods that we eat contain gluten. Some people develop allergy with gluten but not all. Listed Below is a list of some foods with and without glutens: Foods with gluten: 1- Dough (breads, crackers, muffins, bagels, cookies, pie crust, croutons), 2- Pasta and noodles made from wheat flour, 3- Gravies, sauces and salad dressings, soy sauce, 4- Snack foods like pretzels and cereals, 4- Beer, 5- Breaded foods or fried foods, 6- Gluten   containing ingredients in health and beauty products like supplements, toothpaste.  Foods without gluten: carrots, spring onions, new potatoes, spring greens, lettuce, broad beans, spinach, rhubarb, garden peas, mange tout, green beans, cucumber, lettuce, radishes, summer berries, cherries, plums, peppers, melons, apricots, wild mushroom, sweet corn, carrots, beetroot, cauliflower, broccoli, pears, chestnuts, leeks, figs, apples, almonds, turnips, cabbages, onions, parsnips, nuts, leeks, swede, pumpkin.
