Every Halloween it is always miserably cold and most of the costumes leave you freezing in the weather. This year, I decided to wear something warm so I could really enjoy the festivities. I work a pair of snow goggles, my snow pants, a big warm jacket and my Bern snowboard helmet. I went as a snowboarder. It was great because I was so comfortable and warm the entire night! I made a fake snowboard prop so I wouldn’t have to lug around the real thing all night. Bern snowboard helmets are great and it really kept my head warm all night. My snow goggles also helped the warmth factor as well as the feeling of being in costume because it felt like I was behind a mask in my snow goggles. My friends and I were also surrounded by people as we usually are on Halloween and my costume made me feel better about being in huge crowds. My Bern snowboard helmet made me feel like I was in my own little shell. I also felt safe and protected by my snow goggles. It was the most comfortable and warmest Halloween costume I’ve ever worn! I had a great time with it.
